INDUSTRY DETAILS
Self-described “Energy Officer” and bringer of organized chaos, Pall Agarwal moved from Calcutta, India, to Regina, Saskatchewan, at 19, and has been building things from scratch ever since.
Pall is finishing her final year studying finance and economics at the University of Regina, where she graduated high school in India. Since arriving in Canada, she’s packed more into four years than most people manage in a decade: four internships across the Government of Saskatchewan, TD Asset Management, Farm Credit Canada, and Cultivator (a startup accelerator where she connected the dots between events, logistics, and marketing). She co-founded the Good Morning Project with Josh to promote civic pride in Regina, served as co-president of Enactus Regina, published a personal finance column called “Finance with Pall” in *The Carillon*, UofR’s university newspaper. She was in the founding team of building Saskatchewan’s first high school startup accelerator, Elevate XP, with 51% female founders, the highest rate in Canadian accelerator history. Along the way, she picked up the University of Regina Student of the Year Award, a Regina 25 nomination, and a Women of Distinction finalist award by YWCA and a 10 times awardee for scholarships at UofR.
At Barbershop, Pall handles marketing strategy and execution, building out the messaging that showcases the company’s work, managing social content, and capturing behind-the-scenes moments on shoots. She plans obsessively, thinks on her feet when the plan falls apart, and takes feedback the way she takes a compliment: seriously, and with intent to act on it.
Outside work, Pall volunteers with the Regina Food Bank, Hope’s Home, and the Roughriders, watches weekend stand-up comedy, and continues building community spaces for students trying to find their footing, because she remembers what it felt like not knowing anyone on the other side of the world.
