INDUSTRY DETAILS
Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, raised in Regina, and shaped by a family big enough that being social was less of a personality trait and more of a survival skill, Armaan Sehgal has been figuring out how to connect with people his entire life.
Armaan studied Business Administration with a marketing specialization and an economics certificate at the University of Regina, loading his schedule with accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, and business strategy courses because he didn’t want to just understand branding. He wanted to understand how businesses actually work. Before joining the team, he cut his teeth at the South Saskatchewan Community Foundation, where he coordinated large-scale community events for 400-plus attendees, built sponsorship packages, MC’d fundraisers, and raised $50,000 through a campaign he led as a student. He was later invited to speak at the Community Foundations of Canada national conference in Halifax (the only student in the room), where attendees called it one of the best presentations the conference had seen.
At Barbershop, Armaan builds new client relationships and manages existing accounts. That means prospecting, discovery calls, budgets, and the behind-the-scenes coordination that keeps projects moving between the sales pipeline and the production floor. He’s the connective tissue between clients and crew, the person making sure everyone has what they need before the camera rolls.
Outside work, Armaan runs the Regina Youth and Adult Flag Football leagues (a gig he’s held since he was 13), coaches flag football, plays Ultimate Frisbee at the national level with the Regina team, and still somehow finds time for basketball.
